our solution
We hope to encourage people to forage and grow healthy fruits and vegetables. By doing this, we inform people of how to grow plant's which take in Co2.This will also sequester invasive species.
What we're doingOur goal is to educate the public about the long-term befits of gardens, foraging, & how this plays a role in Plant Rich Diets. |
10 years laterIf we do this correctly, 10 years from now we could be having a large impact on Co2 emissions, and we'd all be healthier and happier. If we DON'T, however, we might be looking at uninhabitable communities in the near future. |
OUR GOALOur goal is to communicate with the whole of Maui & it's communities. We will make flyers and share information about how to make your own garden. We will inform people of invasive species and how to best dispose them. We hope by September 2021 we will have educated at least five people about this. |
how can this solution be implemented inMaui?
Our solution can very easily implemented in Hawaii by communicating with local people/communities and discuss the importance of switching over to a more plant based diet.

how does this solution prevent or sequesterCo2 or other greenhouse gases?
By influencing people to grow and forage their own fruits and veggies, we will be bolstering the plant population, resulting in larger carbon sinks.
